The latest news I’m working with Vistuoso - a media company producing top spec helicam footage using RC helicopters! Its such an exciting opportunity for me as I’m employed as camera operator for both video and stills and even gives me some chance to direct the shots we are working on which is superb. Matt Wilmot is the owner and he has taken myself and Brent Love on as a new team to operate the helicam, The job is extremely varied from filming olympic rowers on the water, to event coverage and work on New Zealand soaps. I have been training since January and we are now producing some real quality footage. We have lots of ideas and Matt is really keen to let us get out there and make it happen. Possibly a dream job??? YES!!!!!!!!!!!! Check out the company site :)
From time to time I’m asked to be in shots, usually that I’m assisting on, and in this case it was for the company Crumpler (www.crumpler.eu) who make laptop bags and more. My good friend Kristian Frires (www.kristianfrires.com) was shooting for them and asked me to be in a couple of shots and this one made it :)
